Captain's Comments:"If it's BLOWING Conch is GOING!" Today was exactly that! We had a group of very experienced diver on our boat this morning and we told them "hey y'all its going to be bumpy," they replied "let's do it!" Republic Diver sailed out to the wreck of the USS Spiegel Grove for a double-dip, and despite the wind blowing and the seas churning, our diver still found great conditions under the sea! Our divers, found, along with the Spiegel, 82*f water temp, 80 ft visibility, and NO CURRENT and marine life was just as impressive at the conditions. Along with the typical reef fishes of the Florida Keys they found Pompano, Permit, Goliath Groupers, HUGE Cubera Snappers, and 8 individual Caribbean Reef Sharks! Looking forward into the week winds are supposed to die down as early as tomorrow and into the weekend we are expecting a foot or less seas with incredible viz! It'll be a great time to get underwater for the start of summer seas!
