About
To help reduce the amount of debris impacting our islands, ICARE is hosting their first annual Trash Derby, sponsored by National Marine Sanctuary Foundation in support of Goal: Clean Seas! I.CARE is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to incorporating recreational divers in activities to restore the coral reefs of the Florida Keys. In their first 2 years, I.CARE has transplanted almost 10,000 corals of varying species with a 70% survival rate and educated over 1,800 participants about the importance of coral reef communities. This event not only serves as a way to help clean our seas, it is also a fundraiser to help I.CARE continue its work on our reefs. Learn more about I.CARE here.
